Job description

Reporting to the Director Global IT Finance the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) plays a key role in the IT Finance team in the consolidation of finance activities for the IT Function globally. The successful candidate will need to possess solid analytical and technical capability as well as the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization across multiple business divisions and markets (US Canada Asia GWAM and Corporate). The core accountabilities are:

Position Responsibilities
  • Consolidated reporting: Support the Director Global IT Finance to prepare accurate, complete, and timely production of consolidated financial reports and analysis for the Global IT function including the monthly operating report (MOR). This includes closed loop reporting on progress against targets and overall success of the program in driving expense and FTE savings.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Play a key role in the annual budgeting and planning process and monthly forecasting. This includes partnering with Finance, Technology, Strategy and IT segment teams and consolidating information in a clear and concise manner. The SFA is expected to understand the drivers behind numbers and use their analytical skills and critical thinking to tell the story.
  • Analysis: Support the Director Global IT Finance to gather inputs from data sources, perform reconciliation and provide key financial analysis and insights of expenses. Also create high quality visual charts/graphs for reporting.
  • Transformation: Work to continuously identify operational improvements by employing existing tools and find new ways to streamline efficiencies (e.g., standardization of reporting) and simplify/automate processes.
Required Qualifications
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA / CA / MBA Finance preferred
  • 3-7 years or more of financial analysis experience
  • Experience in Essbase, Anaplan, Power BI, and other data visualization tools

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD
