A Day In The Life

The Senior Financial Analyst will execute financial planning and analysis activities. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and communicating results to senior leadership. You will partner with the business to understand operational and financial links, provide insights, and support strategic decisions.

  • Lead strategic planning, annual budgeting, and monthly reforecasts.
  • Investigate variances to budget and forecast, identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses for month-end and quarter-end reviews.
  • Develop complex financial models and dashboards to illustrate performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Support revenue and margin analysis, KPI planning, and scenario modeling.
  • Manage SG&A reporting and dashboard enhancements.
  • Mentor and coach other Financial Analysts.
  • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of progressive finance, analysis, and reporting experience in fast-paced environments.
    • Retail industry experience is preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CPA or MBA is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion or similar financial planning software is a plus.
    • Strong financial acumen and expert Excel skills.
    • Excellent analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Effective team player with strong communication skills (written & verbal).

    Compensation And Benefits

    The typical salary range is $81,500 - $107,000 annually, based on market, experience, and internal equity. Benefits include performance bonuses, health and dental coverage, paid time off, retirement matching, employee discounts, fitness classes, parental support, and development programs. Our culture emphasizes onsite collaboration, with a minimum of 4 days/week onsite.
