What You Will Do
In this position, the Senior Financial Analyst will:
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure initiatives are properly accounted for and any variances are addressed.
- Serve as the primary contact with US Finance, communicating financial results and weekly sales forecasts for the assigned business unit.
- Drive analysis around volume, price, mix, customer promotions, and customer P&Ls, including monthly reports to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Prepare and enter journal entries.
- Provide ad hoc reporting as required.
- Adopt a collaborative approach with a team-first attitude.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Show a strong personal capacity for learning.
What You Will Bring
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field, preferably in Consumer Goods.
- CPA certification (or near completion).
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions like Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with Power BI, Oracle, SAP, and Business Warehouse is an asset.
- Minimal travel required.
