What You Will Do

In this position, the Senior Financial Analyst will:

  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure initiatives are properly accounted for and any variances are addressed.
  • Serve as the primary contact with US Finance, communicating financial results and weekly sales forecasts for the assigned business unit.
  • Drive analysis around volume, price, mix, customer promotions, and customer P&Ls, including monthly reports to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Adopt a collaborative approach with a team-first attitude.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Show a strong personal capacity for learning.

What You Will Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field, preferably in Consumer Goods.
  • CPA certification (or near completion).
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions like Pivot Tables).
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Oracle, SAP, and Business Warehouse is an asset.
  • Minimal travel required.
