Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Azure and/or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
  • Solid understanding of Docker.
  • Experience managing Helm charts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Experience in programming with Python or Bash.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cooperate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure highly available and scalable production systems.
  • Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.
  • Manage core production systems, including frequent changes and updates.
  • Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.
  • Provide support during off hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.
Required qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Azure and/or similar cloud‑based platforms.
  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with managing Helm charts for packaging, deploying, and managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and metrics collection tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
  • Programming experience with Python or Bash.
  • Experience with event streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Spark and Databricks.
  • Knowledge of storage and data lake principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with managing and configuring MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in high‑availability environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes networking (virtual network, Load balancers, ingress controllers, CNI plugins, network policies, Service meshes) with proven ability to troubleshoot and secure distributed systems.
  • Understanding of LLM concepts (prompt engineering, embeddings, fine‑tuning) and hands‑on experience integrating applications with public LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Databricks – In‑depth knowledge of Databricks, including setting up clusters, configuring jobs, and optimizing performance.
  • Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Hana Cloud Data Lake, Cloud Logging, and BTP AI Hub.
  • Hands‑on experience with services such as Istio service mesh, Kyverno, Kubeflow.
  • Experience with K8s Prometheus monitoring stack and Dynatrace.
  • Intelligent, curious and love to learn and explore new depths in the technology you use every day.

The targeted combined range for this position is 102,400 - 214,300 (CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
