Your role, your impact

As a Senior Developer, you’ll be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of Hadoop ecosystems. Your deep understanding of Hadoop architecture and tools, along with Azure DevOps, Kafka, Cassandra and Jenkins pipelines, will be key to your success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical issues;
• Communicating and collaborating clearly and effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations;
• Adhering to high standards of client confidentiality and ethics, while adapting quickly to changes in project scope and client requirements.

Keys to your success

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Hadoop administration;
• Experience with Treasury, specifically supporting Liquidity within large banks;
• Experience with Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, or Apache;
• Experience with Kafka and Cassandra;
• Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture, including HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, and related technologies;
• Proficiency in Linux system administration;
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Experience with big data tools such as Hive, Pig, HBase, Spark, and Flume;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
