Job Summary

In this role, you will oversee and support the contracts associated with Circular Materials & RLG programs. You will help ensure operations follow contract compliance, while also keeping contract information accurate and up to date. You will research and analyze data, prepare reports, billing and data as needed and act as a key advisor on all contract-related questions with Area Public Sector Solutions. This position plays an important role in helping our teams deliver compliant, efficient, and well managed services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures that all Circular materials contracts are properly followed and that any issues are identified and resolved.
  • You will work closely with District Managers and other teams to address compliance gaps and support accurate reporting through careful data management and weekly uploads to Circular materials tracking systems while building efficient processes to streamline data collection.
  • Responsible for End-to-end management in MAS, ensuring routing, MPU tracking, alerts and address updates are uploaded and accurate to support both Customer Experience and Circular Materials by working with the respective departments.
  • Manages complex contracts to ensure effectiveness by monitoring contract’s dollar balance and time remaining; recommending whether to extend an existing contract or prepare for bid process.
  • Investigates and resolves inquiries regarding contract changes, complaints, discrepancies, disputes, defaults, contract cancellations, and claims. Provides recommendations and prepares corresponding documents for resolutions to management, as appropriate.
  • Participates in strategic planning for municipal business within Area as it relates to Circular Materials.
  • Invoice reconciliation and central communication for all CM-related billing and service inquiries, consolidating work currently dispersed across multiple employees.
  • Coordinates team processes by reviewing daily activities, monitoring work, developing procedures for administering contracts, and training, initially the role will have 1 direct report.
  • Ensures compliance and stays abreast of all laws, rules and regulations applicable to the Area’s municipal operations, and adherence to overall Corporate governance and business integrity standards.
Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, Public Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of previous system and contract management experience (in addition to education requirements).
