An architectural practice firm in Duncan, British Columbia is seeking an experienced professional with over 10 years in Contract Administration. Qualifications

  • Able to assemble construction drawing revisions with minimal supervision.

  • Coordinate with Contractor, Consultants, Client and Authorities having Jurisdiction.
  • Manage time, deadlines, and deliverables on projects.
  • Undertake increasing responsibility for current and future projects.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years’ experience in Contract Administration
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, BIM Docs, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture
  • Fully versed in the Ontario, or B.C Building Code and have experience with large-scale institutional buildings
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong analytical/ problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of building technology/ assemblies, construction methodology, materials application, and interpretation of manufacturers' requirements.
  • Able to assemble construction drawing revisions with minimal supervision including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall sections, details, schedules etc.
  • Ability to coordinate with Contractor, Consultants, Client and Authorities having Jurisdiction
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time, deadlines and deliverables
  • Self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects and who is interested in growing with the firm
