Position: Senior Client Systems Analyst – Workplace Solutions

Employment Type: Permanent

Compensation Details: #LI-Hybrid

Location: EDC operates in a hybrid work environment requiring in-office presence 2 days per week (subject to change). This role can be performed from EDCs headquarters in Ottawa or from Community Hubs in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, integrate, and operate information systems; oversee the full solution lifecycle with guidance from Technical Leads.
  • Collaborate with managed service providers and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet IT standards and business requirements.
  • Perform desktop technology delivery, including vendor consultations, requirement articulation, solution testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain standards and processes for system deployment, testing, and governance; ensure security, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring.
  • Administer and configure mobile devices for end users (Office365, Intune, Hybrid, SCCM, Azure Active Directory).
  • Monitor endpoint health, performance, and stability; engage in long-term planning for endpoint technologies.
  • Execute tasks related to endpoint technologies (workstations, laptops) and support complex technical issues as a subject matter expert.
What we are looking for
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a subject matter expert in:
  • Endpoint Management
  • Microsoft 365 (Office Apps, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams)
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Proven track record in transitioning to new endpoint technologies and overseeing their evolution.
  • Strong communication and ability to create and maintain technical processes and procedures.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently with guidance in complex situations.
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
