We are seeking a Senior Associate, Talent Acquisition to join the Brookfield Properties Corporate Division in Toronto. In this role, you will play a key role in building and developing high performing teams across the U.S. and Canada. Aside from managing a full life cycle of recruitment, you will also be responsible for managing talent acquisition projects and strategy. This role works across Brookfield Properties Corporate, Hospitality, Logistics and Office divisions

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Brookfield Properties’ U.S. and Canadian divisions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating manager interviews, soliciting feedback, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to develop position profiles and understand hiring needs.
  • Manage pre‑onboarding and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and facilitate timely feedback.
  • Apply proactive sourcing strategies, including headhunting and direct outreach.
  • Maintain and update job postings in Workday (ATS) for accuracy and reporting.
  • Post roles on external platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards.
  • Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, professional associations, and technical schools.
  • Drive efficient and effective recruitment processes for both internal and external hires.
  • Support the Director with planning and execution of job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to enhance talent attraction.
  • Assist with intern recruitment and support program‑related activities.
  • Deliver a white‑glove candidate experience and provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Hands‑on experience with applicant tracking systems; Workday preferred.
  • Proficient in sourcing through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other major platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, especially regarding sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and a customer‑service mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1–2 years of agency recruitment experience is a plus.
