As a Senior Analyst in the Reporting & Analysis team, reporting to the Manager, Operational Reporting & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality internal and external reporting, drive data-driven insights, and enhance the reporting processes. You will be responsible for preparing key deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders across Finance and the Personal Insurance (PI) business and driving continuous improvement in the reporting process.

What can you expect in this role?
Internal & External Management Reporting
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly business review (MBR/QBR) materials, including financial metrics, commentary, and executive summaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly external reporting packages, including Analyst Call materials and Quarterly Earnings Call Q&A documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather input and ensure alignment of business commentary.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and post-mortem reviews with Finance.
  • Maintain and enhance standardized reporting templates and documentation.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate financial metrics and commentary across deliverables.
  • Participate in post-mortem reviews and support enhancements to external reporting processes.
Project Support & Operational Enhancements
  • Support the documentation of standardized timelines, roles, and accountabilities for the reporting cycle.
  • Collaborate with Finance to enhance financial data templates and implement BI dashboards using Oracle tools.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and collaborate with internal finance teams to ensure robust data governance across all internal and external reporting deliverables and supporting files.
  • Assist in the relaunch of the PI-Ops huddle board and support team administration activities.
  • Contribute to the development of monthly PI-Ops meeting materials and cadence.
What you bring to this role
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Charted Professional Accountant
  • 3+ years of experience in operational and/or financial reporting, analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial information, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Oracle, Power BI) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is preferred
