A regional credit union is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team on a temporary basis for approximately 22 months. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of four years of relevant experience. The role includes performing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with accounts payable staff. A competitive salary of $40.74/hour and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

We currently have an opportunity to hire a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a temporary basis. The duration of this temporary opportunity is for approximately 22 months.
Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant performs accounting functions that lead to the quality preparation of both internal and external financial and management reports and external regulatory reporting for the Credit Union and its subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities include performing functions in the monthly accounting cycle, preparing and assisting with various reconciliations and assisting with other projects as assigned. In addition, the incumbent acts as a resource and provides guidance to accounts payable staff.
