LOCATION
Toronto or Ottawa (remote)
Point Blank is a remote-first workplace, with offices in Toronto and Vancouver. This position must be based in Toronto (GTA) or Ottawa Region (including Gatineau), in close proximity to our major partners.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building and growing trusted relationships with some of our biggest partners (clients) in labour and progressive politics, at the staff-level and senior-level, with a focus on National and Ontario partnerships. This position holds a significant portion of our partner base, and is responsible for managing high-value or strategic client accounts.
Your core accountabilities include developing strategies–and meeting targets–for partner acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will hold and deepen key relationships, identify opportunities, propose and pitch new projects, ensure successful in-project experiences, proactively identify and remediate issues, and help set the vision for our long-term work together.
The Accounts Team at Point Blank is extremely driven, proactive, and accountable. They’re the first line of response for partners–expected to advocate on their behalf, meet and exceed their needs, and make things happen. The Senior Account Manager works both independently and as part of a team, and must relate to our core values of Being Accountable, Imagining Better, and Rising Together.
REPORTING
This position works closely with the CEO and reports to the Senior Director of Strategy and Clients.

This position requires regular travel throughout the year (4-8 trips per year).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To apply for this role you must be based in Canada and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
This position requires some travel and non-standard work hours and overtime as needed to complete the required responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Professional fluency in French or other languages. Experience working in tech, advertising, labour or political campaigns sectors.

COMPENSATION
This role is in Grade 7B of our wage grid which starts at $88,854 and tops out at $108,599, plus $16,000 in potential annual incentive pay, based on achievement of sales targets.
