To deliver a consistent and superior level of customer service to clients by actively seeking opportunities to provide assistance and support. To ensure that property rules and standards are observed by maintaining a highly visible and reassuring presence through patrol and post duties. To act as a deterrent to crime and undesired activity, helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will work all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

What you will deliver :
- Provide outstanding service to customers and clients, assisting with safety concerns, illnesses, or emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations reasonably.
- Perform highly visible patrols of assigned areas and engage positively with clients.
- Collaborate with other departments, especially Guest Services, to support customer service and resolve concerns.
- Remain vigilant for suspicious behavior and report accordingly.
- Respond to emergencies such as crimes, disturbances, fires, following SOPs and Emergency Plans.
- Respond to crimes when authorized and summon law enforcement.
- Report hazards or deficiencies observed during duty.
- Inspect fire equipment and escalators daily.
- Respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, or AED support until professionals arrive.
- Maintain incident reports and memo books using CF's reporting system.
- Deal fairly and safely with trespassers and unauthorized persons, enforcing Trespass to Property Act.
- Support JH&S programs to promote occupational safety.
- Provide after-hours lock-up and morning open-ups.
- Complete CF Serve and Secure program annually.
- Follow procedures related to building hours and traffic management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed :
- Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement/Security or equivalent.
- At least one year of shopping centre security experience preferred.
- Provincial Security License required.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- WHMIS and safety courses are assets.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of crowd control in emergencies.
