Job summary

A leading tech firm in Metro Vancouver is seeking talented Security Engineers to join their Security & IT team. You'll secure cloud infrastructure, enhance security monitoring, and support compliance objectives within a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, experience in risk assessments, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies. Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), IAM, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and security reviews.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments of internal systems and third-party applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement security best practices.
• Audit and strengthen security configurations across endpoints, infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities to proactively mitigate risks.
• Support compliance and regulatory efforts e.g. SOC 2, ISO27001.
