Sales Service (Cashier)

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions and handle general inquiries.
• Maintain general housekeeping and related customer service duties.

This position is key to fulfilling our mission of providing a superior shopping experience every day. London Drugs values the Sales Service position as a primary contact with customers. Previous experience in a customer service role is an asset; consideration will be given to applicants with related, non-work experience.

In addition, this is a customer service role requiring a high degree of customer contact. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

You should possess strong social skills (courteous, sincere, articulate, well groomed), a high level of tolerance when interacting with the public, and a mature, positive, helpful attitude.

If you have good cash handling abilities and are efficient and knowledgeable in cash register operations, scanning and bagging techniques, we have the opportunity for you to excel.

Schedule

Applicants should be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday with daytime availability until 5pm, in addition to some evenings and weekends.
