A leading construction materials company in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a Project Sales Associate. This role involves partnering with clients to understand project requirements, providing tailored solutions, and driving sales through customer engagement. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a commissioned sales environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of building materials and the construction process will be considered an asset.
  • Able to travel to customer sites, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales through engagement of customers and suggestive selling.
  • Clarify and understand customers’ needs and take them to the best solution(s).
  • Grow the geographic sales area by building new relationships.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare estimates and material lists and follows up on deliveries.
  • Stay updated about latest products trends and market conditions.

Project Sales Associate Partner with the clients to fully understand their project requirements and assist in planning comprehensive solutions. As knowledgeable sales professionals, project sales associates can provide tailored recommendations which address customers' specific project needs and challenges.

Prepare estimates and material lists and follows up on deliveries

Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions

Stay updated about latest products trends and market conditions
