Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Position Overview :

Responsibilities :

1. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
2. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
3. Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements :

1. Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred.
2. Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
4. Proactive problem-solving skills.
5. Dedicated to customer service.
6. Ability to multi-task and make presentations to potential customers.
7. Property & Casualty license (preferred or must be obtainable); not necessary for interview.
