Job summary

A leading market research firm is seeking a Market Research Specialist to support and enhance the DAFgiving360 platform. This role involves managing client online communities, collaborating with vendors, and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies for insights. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 5+ years in marketing research, and excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time contract position located in Coquitlam, offering a dynamic team environment.

Description

Our client’s Market Research team focuses on company-wide strategic decision support, client loyalty and behavior, advanced analytics, and market research. Their mission is to help the client compete on analytics – to serve their clients and cultivate their loyalty by understanding their needs and make strategic decisions in a data-driven manner.
This role supports DAFgiving360, an independent public charity created to increase charitable giving. You will be part of a dynamic team of researchers and analysts, specifically responsible for the day-to-day management and support of online communities of DAFgiving360 clients (advisors). You will partner closely with the DAFgiving360 organization and external vendors to help enhance their Platform and create better client experiences.

Requirements for the role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing research (either ‘vendor side’ or ‘client side’).
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Ability to develop detailed project plans and implement them on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytic and statistical skills to extract insights from complex datasets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with online advisory boards or communities.
  • Research experience with financial advisors, particularly RIAs.
  • Experience at an investment firm or in financial services.
  • Experience designing and managing User Experience (UX) studies.
  • Experience implementing AI tools in research.
  • Experience in mission-driven or social impact organizations.
