What your day-to-day will look like

In this fully remote role, based out of our Sainte-Julie (QC) head office, you will focus on expanding Chagall’s presence across Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the consumer retail landscape
  • Leverage your existing network while building new, long-term client relationships
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Chagall's growth strategy
  • Represent Chagall with professionalism at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
  • Understand client needs and deliver customized solutions using Chagall's full range of services (design, fabrication, installation)
  • Work closely with internal teams (estimating, design, and project management) to develop proposals and ensure project success
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adjust strategies as needed
  • Keep detailed records of business development activities, pipeline health, and performance versus targets
The profile we're looking for

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or sales in the commercial millwork and fixtures industry
  • A strong network in the retail world, grocery, foodservice, or branded environments
  • Familiarity with the design and construction industries
  • Proven success in leading client acquisition from prospecting to closing
  • A strategic mindset and hands-on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in estimating (a strong asset)
  • Willingness to travel as needed
