Overview

Brandt Tractor Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in our Ayr, London, and Windsor Brandt Peterbilt locations. This position is responsible for maximizing the sales growth and profitability of the wholegoods department.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the sales of Truck & Trailer equipment
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets
  • Provide for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers and employees
  • Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Assist in the management of Branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit and VP of Operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field considered an asset
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry considered an asset
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
  • Confident in decision making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning
  • Must be available to travel as needed
