Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Military experience, or Associate’s Degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 4 years of professional experience
  • At least 1 year of Sales Experience, or a Degree in Sales, or Sales Internship Experience, or active membership in a Collegiate Sales Club/Organization
  • A strong desire to build a career in B2B Sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, suitable for negotiations
  • A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and high professionalism and character
  • The ability to overcome obstacles and collaborate effectively to achieve goals
  • A strong willingness to learn

Salary: $60,000 plus $5,000 geographic allowance, weekly commissions, and performance bonuses (quarterly and annually). Promotion to Account Manager includes monthly car and cell phone allowances.

Position is onsite in Toronto, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The Sales Development Rep is responsible for learning and executing all steps of the sales process, including:

  • Partnering with the Delivery team to identify top IT talent to meet client needs
  • Increasing sales and market share through existing and new accounts
  • Developing and managing customer relationships using resources like Salesforce and Hoovers
  • Contacting prospective customers to understand their needs, hiring cycles, and building strong relationships
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals effectively
