Job summary

A leading company in health and safety is seeking an OHS expert to provide impactful training and improve health and safety systems. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in occupational health and safety and relevant experience, providing training at various sites. Responsibilities include developing training programs, maintaining quality, and traveling to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing health and safety training preferred.
• Familiarity with working at heights and confined spaces.
• Understand lockout/tagout procedures and developing safety protocols.

Job description

Act as an OHS expert to provide customers with training in health and safety to have a significant impact on the success of health and safety systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop and update expertise;
• Provide health and safety training to customers, either at the SPI training center or on the customer’s premises;
• Contribute to the development and improvement of training programs;
• Contribute to the development and improvement of health and safety practices, assessments and documents;
• Maintain a high standard of quality and expertise;
• Travel by car or plane to customer sites in the region or out of town.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety;
• Experience as a health and safety trainer, a definite asset;
• Experience in working at heights, in confined spaces, in lockout / tagout and in developing health and safety procedures;
