Opportunity: Safety Services Technician

• Fire Suppression (Extinguishers/Vehicle Suppression Systems)
• Fall Protection (Self Retracting Lifelines/Harness and Lanyards)
• Breathing Air (SCBA/Compressors/Hydro Testing)
• Instrumentation (Gas Detection)
• Mechanical Repairs (Hoisting/Industrial Equipment/Torque Wrenches)

As a service technician, you will use your positive attitude and strong work ethic to perform the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the company's quality process to achieve customer satisfaction as per manufacturer's specifications.
• Assist in repairs for customer equipment.
• Learn procedures for contacting customers regarding repairs that require estimates.
• Organize and maintain inventory, keeping adequate replacement parts on hand, and advise supervisors of upcoming requirements.
• Maintain records of all repairs, including in-progress and completed work.
• Pick up and deliver repairs to customer facilities when necessary.
• Prepare work orders for repairs, including repair times, and enter this information into the system.
• Interact with customers to promote positive relations.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
• Ensure all rental, demo, and service center equipment is in good condition.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards, attention to detail, and adherence to procedures.
• Suggest improvements to processes, procedures, or safety measures.
• Provide reports and information to management as requested.
• Obtain manufacturing certificates as required.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic understanding of hand tools.
• Ongoing training on equipment to be repaired and serviced.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and maintain visual attention.
