This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer 2026, it will be a full‑time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Communicating with the inventory management team about product stock levels
  • Ensuring service is friendly, courteous, and professional
  • Operating the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash-out forms
  • Keeping the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
  • Communicating with co‑workers and management
  • Forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
  • Monitoring security in the retail environment
  • The application of upselling and cross‑selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives
  • Collecting feedback from guests
  • Answering the phone
  • Facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
  • Upholding the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Retail experience an asset
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative on restocking, remerchandising, and regular cleaning duties
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at high altitudes. Be prepared for all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail) as retail operations are at both the lower and upper terminals of Whistlers Mountain.
  • Secondary language skills an asset

The starting wage for this role is $19.00/hour.
