A leading research organization in Toronto is seeking a part-time Research Analyst for the Anti-racism Education Research Project. The successful candidate will support qualitative research and engage with community partners. Qualifications include a degree in social sciences and skills in qualitative research. This role offers some flexibility for remote work.
The Anti-racism Education Research Project is seeking a part-time Research Analyst to support qualitative research and knowledge translation activities. As part of our team, you will report to the study’s Principal Investigator, Dr. Csilla Kalocsai, Education Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate strengths in qualitative social and health research, an unwavering commitment to equity and justice, as well as capacity to facilitate ongoing engagement with community partners and diverse individuals from across the hospital.
You will have the option to work partially remotely.
Launched in June 2022, the Anti-Racism Education Research Project is a grant-funded longitudinal study that aims to understand how anti-racism education is produced and received in academic hospitals. It is a participatory research study with a large collaborative team, many of whom are involved in the frontline of anti-racism advocacy, education and/or healthcare. It centers Black and Indigenous people who work, volunteer, and learn in academic hospital settings, and works in partnership with Black (BDGT) and Indigenous Data Governance Tables (IDGT) to ensure that the work benefits these hospital-based working communities.
