Overview
Senior level contract opportunity for a Scrum Master and Business Analyst to work with Housing New Brunswick (HNB) on a document management solution integration with the HNB COTS system. The project team is based in Fredericton, NB. Remote work within Canada may be approved. Business hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM Atlantic time.
Responsibilities
- The Scrum Master role involves initiating the project with a clear vision and identifying stakeholders.
- Maintain the product backlog with support from other Scrum Masters and participate in release planning.
- Plan and estimate work items including user stories and sprint backlog.
- Participate in routine Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Provide regular status updates to other Scrum Masters and the Steering Committee.
- Implement the scanning and document management solution that integrates with the HNB COTS solution, including creating project deliverables and participating in production rollout.
Deliverables
- Initiation artifacts: project vision, stakeholder identification.
- Backlog maintenance and release planning inputs.
- Work item plans, including user stories, tasks, and sprint backlogs.
- Scrum ceremonies participation and status communications.
- Documentation and deliverables for the scanning and document management solution rollout.
Business Analyst Role
- Analyze scanning and document management options identified within GNB and external options.
- Gather requirements, identify issues and risks, and support solution implementation.
- Produce how-to documents, SOPs, and other supporting materials for the HNB Maintenance and Support Team.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and related BA tasks as required.
Qualification & Requirements
- Support the software development team and work with client and development teams to elicit requirements and write user stories.
- Define business processes, document requirements, and analyze business functions within the domain.
- Identify stakeholder needs and author test case specifications and traceability documentation.
- Contribute to Agile practices within the development team.
