We are seeking a high-impact finance professional to lead financial reporting and operational controlling for our TDS Site organization in Saint Bruno HQ. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial insights and effective cost management across departments, supporting strategic decision-making and performance optimization. The role reports to the Site Controller TDS Saint Bruno and supports the Reporting Manager and OVH Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, forecasts, and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts by Cost Center, providing detailed commentary on variances and root causes.
  • Collaborate with the Site Controller and departmental managers to monitor operational costs and implement effective cost control strategies, focusing on OVH expenses.
  • Drive KPI tracking, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for financial data integrity, ensuring consistency across systems.
  • Manage accounting reconciliations and prepare/review monthly journal entries for the closing process.
  • Prepare the reporting package for management reviews.
  • Use KPIs and scorecards to anticipate and explain deviations from the budget.
Profile:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and controlling, preferably in a complex business environment. Strong accounting skills, CPA qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis and financial performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools (SAP, Excel) and BI platforms (QlikView, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

Knowledge of additional languages is an asset for communication with partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language.
