About the Role:

As a Remote Scoop Operator with Dumas, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of remote‑controlled scoop trams in an underground mining environment. This role plays a critical part in mucking, hauling, and maintaining production targets while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate remote‑controlled scoop trams to move blasted rock from the face to designated areas.
• Ensure compliance with Dumas and site‑specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre‑operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting all issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating scoop trams (manual or remote) in an underground mining environment.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
• Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
