About the Role

Discovery Community College is committed to academic excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment. We are seeking an on-site Registration Coordinator to support with our student enrollment, record management, and compliance, working out of the Kelowna, BC campus, ensuring a seamless experience for our students.


This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future advancements within the college.


Rate Range: $47,000-$50,000 per annum



Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee student registration and data entry

  • Support students with forms and registration issues

  • Verify documentation with Admissions Advisors

  • Maintain accurate and compliant student records

  • Monitor class capacities and assist with scheduling

  • Handle registration fees and financial records

  • Communicate registration info via phone, email, and in-person

  • Generate enrollment reports and track trends

  • Respond to inquiries on deadlines and policies

  • Assist with orientation and onboarding events



Qualifications


  • High school diploma required; post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration, Education, or a related field is an asset.

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, registration, or help desk role (preferably in aducational setting).

  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and student information systems (SIS) a plus.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
