As a regulated professional licensed with the provincial college of pharmacy, you’ll be an essential part of our pharmacy team that’s committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

RPT’s will have independent authority, responsibility, and liability to prepare, process and compound prescriptions including:

  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Communicate with the retail pharmacy teams that we prepare compounds for
  • Ensuring the accuracy of compounded prescriptions
  • Conducting the final check of compounded prescriptions
  • Creating and maintaining Master Formulation Records (MFRs) for compounds in accordance to NSCP Standards
  • Help manage workflow and prioritization of compounds
  • Utilization of specialized compounding equipment
  • Advanced compounding training available
  • Potential to support our LTC operation providing injections/vaccinations as applicable if wanting to maintain injection permit
