Background

We are an independent sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy located at 5045 Mainway in Burlington, Ontario. We collaborate with local physicians and other prescribers, and prepare personalized pharmaceutical solutions for their patients' unique conditions. We're on the lookout for a technically skilled, caring and empathetic individual with a knack for customer service and strong computer skills, ready to join our team and make a difference.

Job Responsibilities
  • Managing client and health care professional phone/email inquiries, providing personalized assistance, and building strong customer relationships.
  • Preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, including topical creams, capsules, suspension, and injections.
  • Processing and entering prescription orders in Kroll.
  • Helping clients with third party payers and insurance claims.
  • Accepting and verifying deliveries from third-party suppliers.
  • Managing inventory, purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure our facilities, are maintained to the highest standards in accordance with OCP, NAPRA, and Health Canada regulations.
Required Education and Experience
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification with OCP is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Kroll, especially in entering and processing prescriptions, is required.
  • Employing strong computer skills for effective email and task/project management.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for effective customer interaction both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative is required.
