A health organization in Ontario is seeking a motivated Casual Registered Nurse, Specialist in Organ and Tissue Donation. This role includes conducting clinical assessments and working closely with healthcare providers to support organ and tissue donation processes. Applicants should have a Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's degree, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and at least three years of relevant critical care experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications. Travel within Kingston and the surrounding area will be required.

Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN), part of Ontario Health, is currently seeking a highly motivated casual Registered Nurse, Specialist, Organ and Tissue Donation for the Kingston and surrounding region with a history of excellence in clinical practice who thrives on making a difference. The incumbent will report directly to the Manager, Hospital Programs.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to guide each step of the donation process including donor identification through referral indicators, donor suitability assessment, death determination, approach and consent with families, to the medical donor management optimizing organ yield for recipient transplantation.
