Job description

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

In accordance with established hospital policies and procedures, responsible for providing pre-admission assessment, teaching and discharge planning that is consistent with current standards of nursing practice to: Daycare Surgery Patients (DCS), same day surgery patients (SDS), and patients that are admitted to hospital before O.R. (elective surgical admissions). The pre-admission clinic (PAC) provides an opportunity to deal with all pre-admission activities in one visit.

Shift Rotation / Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

Dawson Creek & District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the orthopaedic trauma and surgical centre for the northeast region of BC. Services include:

Dawson Creek offers wide blue skies and rolling foothills of the Northern Rockies.
