Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with the hospital policies and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia. This position reports to the Maternity Coordinator.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
  • Support the Maternity Coordinator in daily operations and patient care delivery.
  • Assist with assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care needs.
Shift Rotation / Hours of Work

Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)

Facility

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:
