Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Jubilee Lodge. Reporting to the Manager (or designate), the Clinical Practice Lead contributes to the delivery of quality resident care, professional nursing practice and the enhancement of geriatric services in a Long Term Care setting through nursing practice assessment and development, clinical consultation, quality improvement, care coordination, staff health and other leadership activities. The Clinical Practice Lead will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively with others to positively impact nursing care in Long Term Care nursing practice.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work

Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

Jubilee Lodge

Attached to the University Hospital of Northern BC, Jubilee Lodge is a 66‑bed facility with one‑bed, two‑bed and four‑bed units. The facility features a common dining room, solarium sitting area and a large patio. Recreation Therapy is provided on site, offering activities such as hymn‑sing, school visits with the elderly, and choral groups.

Qualifications
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Five (5) years recent experience in gerontology and demonstrated competencies in leadership or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
