A leading healthcare provider in Toronto is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Psychiatry team. You will provide psychiatric nursing care, conduct assessments, and participate in the interprofessional team approach. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, current CNO registration, and BCLS certification, with 1–2 years of experience in acute psychiatric care preferred. As a general psychiatry unit, we see diverse patient diagnoses including mental health disorders, schizophrenia, cognitive impairment and depression. This provides fantastic learning opportunities, and your professional development is emphasized.

Affiliated with the University of Toronto, this is a 15-bed general psychiatry inpatient unit for the adult population with various mental health diagnoses, including mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. The unit is also specialized in geriatric psychiatry and perinatal psychiatry as Mount Sinai is recognized as a specialist in both areas.
