Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Must complete ECG Monitoring & Rhythm Analysis course within 12 months.
  • Must complete Progressive Care Unit course within 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and facilitate patient care coordination.
  • Demonstrate commitment to healthcare vision and goals.

Skills

Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated critical thinking/problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize care for patients
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations

Education

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
