A regional health authority in Nova Scotia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric ICU. This role involves providing direct nursing care to children, planning care in line with unit standards and ensuring patient safety. Candidates must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and have current CPR certification, along with up to two years of recent Pediatric ICU experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to organize workload are essential for this position.

Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate, the Registered Nurse - PICU plans and provides direct nursing care to patients in the hospital in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Current CPR Basic Rescuer. Knowledge of physiology and psychology of children aged newborn to 16 years; recognized Pediatric ICU education certificate; up to two years recent (within the past 2 years) experience in Pediatric ICU; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
