What You Will Do
  • Assess nutritional status and develop individualized, culturally appropriate care plans aligned with client needs and resources.
  • Provide nutrition counselling, education, and training on meal planning, food safety, and adherence to care plans.
  • Monitor client progress using weight, labs, and outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and community partners, including referrals, advocacy, and resource coordination.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and safe practice by adhering to privacy, consent, health, and safety standards.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta.
  • Familiarity with tube feeds would be considered an asset.
  • Your focus is to embrace person and family-centered care.
  • You are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making client decisions.
  • You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently.
  • You value the role a dietitian plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance.
  • You have the ability to travel within community as part of the CBI Health Home Health Services team.
