Job Opportunity: Regional Floral Merchandisers

We are recruiting for Regional Floral Merchandisers to travel within a designated region on behalf of growers, merchandising plant programs in large retailers from mid April to mid June (7 weeks).

Responsibilities include:

1. Travel to several retail locations within your region to locate incoming orders.
2. Ensure products are placed on the sales floor.
3. Manage inventory and pricing.
4. Provide maintenance on all items in retail locations within your region.

Requirements:

• Personal transportation to travel efficiently between 2-3 locations per shift.
• Availability for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (occasionally Friday) between 8am-4pm, depending on delivery schedules.
• Weekly hours between 10-16 hours, depending on your location.

Ideal candidates will also:

• Enjoy working flexible schedules on various programs and projects.
• Be able to bend, lift, push, and pull items weighing 20-50 lbs.
• Work independently.
• Possess floral or plant maintenance knowledge.
• Be personable and able to build strong relationships.
• Be keen to learn quickly.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Possess merchandising, retail, or labor experience.
• Be able to travel 45 minutes to 1 hour from your home base.
• Have access to a cell phone with data for online reporting.
