Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across Canada. This role involves full-cycle recruitment and building relationships with managers. Successful candidates will have 2 to 5 years of experience and strong communication skills. Bilingual abilities in English and French are preferred. This position offers a 12-month contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Our client, a leader in the Defence and Technology industry, is seeking a Recruiter to join their team in Dartmouth, NS or Ottawa, ON or Montreal, QC. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, high-volume recruitment environment and play a key role in supporting hiring initiatives across Canada. 12-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Support full-cycle recruitment for a variety of high-volume roles across Canada
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to align recruitment efforts with business needs
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, and proactive outreach
  • Screen and coordinate candidates through all stages of the recruitment process
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Support university relations, early careers, and other recruitment initiatives as needed
  • Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team across Canada
Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or agency recruitment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Bilingual (English & French) considered an asset
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance (must have 5 years of residency in Canada)
