Join us as Railway Dynamics Engineer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.

Reporting to the Site Railway Dynamic Expert, you will be in charge to perform the Railway Dynamics activities as well as provide technical support to the Project teams.

This position based at our St-Bruno site on the South Shore of Montreal is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week). Hybrid work environment minimally 3 days on site.

Your role

  • Perform the Railway Dynamics Technical Specification analysis (Customers), and prepare Clause-by Clause analysis
  • Carry-out Railway Dynamics simulations
  • Analysis and interpretation of tests results (indoor and on track tests)
  • Provide Support to burning issues on on-going projects or revenue service

Your mission

  • Apply the Railway Dynamics Instructions and Guidelines
  • Ensure project Domain activities are always in compliance with QCD commitments
  • Contribute to the Domain’s continuous improvement

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent ideally combined with relevant experience in Railway Dynamics
  • Good knowledge on software MultiBody System (Simpack, VAMPIRE or other)
  • Good knowledge of mechanical vibrations, Track-vehicle system and impact on dynamics behavior; knowledge on train system engineering
  • Knowledge Matlab/Simulink, and advance level in MS Excel
  • Good communication skills in both French & English, pro-activity, team working
