Job Details

The role of the Purchasing Coordinator is to ensure the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the entire supply chain for the Flexpipe brand and for the Canadian entity Flexpipe Inc. They will ensure that the right products are available at the right time and in the right place, while optimizing costs and service quality. A true logistics maestro, they oversee the entire cycle—from parts procurement to customer delivery—including supplier management, inventory management, and coordination between North American distribution centers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement for Flexpipe brand products for distribution centers in North America
  • Oversee inventory management for Canada and the United States.
  • Define stock level policies and order volumes based on demand and seasonality in collaboration with the US purchasing/logistics team.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy in the various warehouses.
  • Cooperate with the warehouse team (2 people) in their daily operations and in managing inventory movements.
  • Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers when necessary with the assistance of the purchasing manager and/or general manager.
  • Manage and evaluate supplier performance (quality, reliability, deadlines).
  • Responsible for purchasing consumables for warehouse operations and small supplies for the factory.
  • Coordinate logistics and collaboration between the three North American distribution centers.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing, costs, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate intercompany flows, including customs compliance.
  • Monitor legal developments regarding product customs codes and tariffs associated with each country.

Le rôle du coordinateur achat est d’assurer la performance, la fiabilité et l’efficacité de toute la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour la marque Flexpipe et pour l’entité Canadienne Flexpipe Inc. Il veille à ce que les bons produits soient disponibles, au bon moment et au bon endroit, tout en optimisant les coûts et la qualité de service. Véritable chef d’orchestre logistique, il supervise l’ensemble du cycle — de l’approvisionnement des pièces à leur livraison chez le client — en passant par la gestion des fournisseurs, des inventaires, et la coordination entre les centres de distribution nord-américains.

Responsabilités principales
  • Gérer la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour les produits de la marque Flexpipe en Amérique du Nord.
  • Superviser la gestion des inventaires pour le Canada et les États-Unis.
  • Définir les politiques de niveaux de stock et les volumes de commande selon la demande et la saisonnalité en collaboration avec l’équipe logistique US.
  • Assurer l’exactitude des stocks (inventory accuracy) dans les différents entrepôts.
  • Coopérer avec l’équipe d’entrepôt (2 personnes) dans leurs opérations quotidiennes et dans la gestion des mouvements d’inventaires.
  • Négocier les conditions et prix avec les fournisseurs lorsque nécessaire avec l’aide du directeur achat et/ou du directeur général.
  • Gérer et évaluer la performance des fournisseurs (qualité, fiabilité, délais).
  • Coordonner la logistique et la collaboration entre les trois centres de distribution d’Amérique du Nord.
  • Mettre en place et suivre les indicateurs de performance (KPI) liés à la chaine d’approvisionnement, aux coûts et aux délais.
  • Coordonner les flux intercompagnie incluant la conformité douaniere.
  • Effectuer la veille légale sur les codes de douanes des produits ainsi que des tarifs associés à chaque pays.
