Proposal Analyst

What You Will Do

In this role you will deliver high quality proposals in a timely manner for the institutional and private client sales teams. You will learn about a broad range of public and private investment strategies and coordinate with subject matter experts in portfolio management and investment operations. Time management, project management, and attention to detail are required to be successful in this role.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparing and completing RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for all CC&L Financial Group affiliates; this involves working closely with subject matter experts from all business areas.
  • Drafting new responses and recommending value-added enhancements to existing RFP responses.
  • Maintaining and administering an RFP response database and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of various reports and files required to support the RFP process.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining various external investment and consultant databases if required.
What You Bring
  • Investment Knowledge: You have a Finance degree or equivalent and a genuine interest in the investment industry.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, bank, or trust company; completion of relevant industry courses is a plus.
  • Collaborative Communication: You can articulate yourself clearly verbally and in writing and work well with others to resolve complex issues.
  • Team Player: You are committed to contributing and supporting a team of like-minded individuals who are driven and have high standards.
  • Positive Attitude: You are sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic and will seek to improve existing processes and help implement creative solutions.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
