Role Description

We are seeking a Project Manager for Hazardous Materials to join our team at our Tilbury, ON location. This is a full-time on-site role where the candidate will be responsible for managing hazardous material projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, preparing reports, overseeing field staff, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Additionally, the successful candidate will maintain client relationships and deliver projects effectively and efficiently, adhering to established timelines and budgets.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in hazardous material management, including inspection, sampling, identification, and remediation
  • Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and client communication
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in Ontario or Canada as applicable
  • Proven ability to lead and support field staff and coordinate multi-site projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, detailed project reports
  • Proficiency with relevant software, tools, and reporting systems in the environmental or engineering sector
  • A degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; industry certifications such as AHERA are considered an asset
  • Experience in consulting or a similar client-facing environment will be beneficial
  • A valid driver’s license for site visits and travel requirements
