Position Overview

As a Project Manager at BELFOR, you’ll oversee emergency and restoration projects from start to finish—ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You’ll assess job sites, prepare estimates, and keep clients, adjusters, and consultants informed. As the first point of contact in the field, you’ll represent BELFOR with professionalism while building strong relationships and driving projects to successful completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage restoration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
  • Prepare estimates, floor plans, and documentation using Xactimate and other platforms.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in both internal and external systems.
  • Secure work authorizations and deposits while ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate job activities, subcontractors, permits, and inspections for smooth project delivery.
  • Communicate with clients, insurers, and stakeholders to provide updates and maintain strong relationships
  • Oversee project finances, including billing, collections, and compliance with insurance/legislative standards.
  • Monitor compliance with insurance requirements and legislative standards.
  • Ensure job site safety by conducting hazard assessments, maintaining organized and hazard-free sites, and enforcing the proper use and care of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Respond to emergencies to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to team members to support successful project execution.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (must meet BELFOR Auto Policy requirements).
Nice to Have
  • 3+ years’ experience in Project Management (construction or restoration).
  • Post-secondary education in Construction, Business, or Project Management.
  • Working knowledge of building codes and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, and DocuSketch.

Working Conditions
  • Standard business hours with potential evening, on-call, or extended work as needed.
  • Physical tasks may include standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling, and working in tight or confined spaces, as well as at heights over 5 feet.

  • Periodic travel to job sites is required.
