Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Peterborough, Ontario

Project Site-Based | Full-Time

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major project located in Peterborough, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure project milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, and reporting in alignment with organizational standards.
• Lead site meetings, track progress, and resolve construction-related issues in real time.
• Ensure safety and quality control standards are upheld at all times.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the site and the client, stakeholders, and head office.
• Monitor procurement, logistics, and material deliveries to support seamless site execution.
• Proactively identify risks or delays and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of construction project management experience, ideally on large-scale, multi-residential or institutional projects.
• Previous experience with student residence or post-secondary projects is a strong asset, but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and construction software.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Peterborough, Ontario (candidates should ideally live within a 1-hour commute).
