About The Role:

  • The Project Coordinator supports the Senior Director of Product Engineering by ensuring smooth project execution through strong organization, communication, and administrative support. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and cross-team collaboration to keep projects on track and stakeholders informed.
  • This role is a hybrid position based in Winnipeg, MB.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Monitor project progress and create project status reports for the Senior Director, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Schedule and participate in stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication among team members to drive effective and timely project execution.
  • Maintain and update critical project management documents, including project plans, budgets, schedules, and scope statements, as directed by the Leadership.
  • Execute a variety of project management administrative tasks.
  • Support the implementation of risk management strategies, collaborating with team members to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Senior Director, including calendar management, meeting preparation, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business administration, management or a related field.
  • Preferred: Project management certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a related role, preferably in a product development or engineering environment.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools).
  • Knowledge/experience in other software platforms (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce, SmartSheet, Madcap, Concur or similar tools).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Flexible, able to handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
