Overview of role:

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Program Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives, drive improvements, and champion compliance excellence across the organization. This role reports to the Director - Procurement, Process & Strategy and partners closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT to deliver high‑impact initiatives that strengthen our governance, efficiency, and overall procurement performance.

Key deliverables include:
  • Lead end-to-end procurement and cross-functional projects from business case to closure, ensuring on-time ROI delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies for organization-wide compliance, alignment, and consistency.
  • Drive change management activities to accelerate new processes, systems, and standards.
  • Identify risks, deploy controls, and cultivate a culture of integrity and regulatory adherence.
  • Apply data‑driven problem‑solving to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and project transparency.
  • Create project documentation, business cases, and strategic communications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and elevate procurement effectiveness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for policy, compliance, process improvement, and project delivery.
Experience and qualifications:
  • 15+ years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related business operations.
  • Strong project management capability with experience in policy, compliance frameworks, and technology‑enabled initiatives (ERP, Source to Pay).
  • Develop and implement policies for organization-wide compliance, alignment, and consistency.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and strong at managing multiple priorities in high‑volume environments.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience with project management tools or automation platforms (asset).
  • Prosci, PMP, or equivalent certifications (asset).
  • Post‑secondary education in Business, Project Management, Procurement, or related field.

  • On‑time, in‑scope delivery and return on investment of key projects.
