Note: This is a full-time position, based in London, ON. This position is onsite only and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. Reporting to the Centre Director; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
Our team is looking for a full-time Program & Counselling Coordinator. The Program & Counselling Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to oversee the Teen Challenge Canada (TCC) program while ensuring it is delivered with excellence and in full compliance with Program Standards and TCC policies. As the Program & Counselling Coordinator, you are the supportive force behind the Program team; you are a steady, compassionate leader who values integrity, collaboration, and consistency. You exude patience and discretion while guiding both clients and staff with wisdom and care. You will coordinate Addictions Counsellors caseloads, coordinate client Programs from admission to discharge, and personally provide quality counselling. You will also facilitate the application of Program Standards, navigate sensitive matters with confidentiality, and collaborate closely with the Program team to ensure the program is both effective and transformative.
